 Communications have now become integrated with the internet and PCs. No longer is it necessary, for instance, to type a letter or report, print it then feed it through a fax machine to a recipient. A document prepared on a PC - whether it be a letter or a spreadsheet - can be sent by fax without ever producing a piece of paper.

 Not just faxing and emails, but voice communications are even possible using your PC.

 Internet Messaging is not just a toy used by your children. Microsoft's Internet Messenger is now used by large corporations to instantly communicate with their worldwide offices by written means. Any company with an internet connection can do the same. Imagine being able to "talk" to a contact thousands of miles away without paying for an international phone call. If you are fortunate enough to have access to "broadband", then you can use a "web cam" and microphone to hold a "videophone" call - at no extra cost.
